Bio:
Long Island Bigfoot Mike grew up on Long Island New York, and was always intrigued by wildlife, oceanic creatures, and dinosaurs. These interests were the foundation which propelled Mike's research and curiosity for cryptids later in life. With a fascination for whales and the Loch Ness Monster, Mike would frequently ask his family to visit Scotland to search for Nessie.
Between 2007 and 2011, Mike served in the army and spent a year in Afghanistan. While the impact of such an experience is something he works on healing every day, searching for Bigfoot brings Mike peace and relief from the effects of PTSD. Walking through a primary stretch of forest paramount to his research known as "Bubba's House", Mike became familiar with his surroundings for 5 years before he began documenting any activity. Uncertain what he was actually experiencing, Mike took time to meditate on the possibilities before deciding to speak out.
Upon reviewing current investigations in the search for Bigfoot, Mike realized he was observing similar activity to what other researchers were reporting. Armed with the understanding that the esoteric nature of what he was observing might be legit in respect to a well known cryptid, Mike began documenting through photography and video his interactions with Bigfoot and their respective families. Mike has also observed other entities and anomalies in the woods of Long Island. He would like to extend his heartfelt thanks to his wife Sarah Rose, and the amazing people of the Long Island Bigfoot team, and to all those who support his channel and research.
