UFO Slice

The Pilot's Stated the following:
"I saw these lights randomly appearing and disappearing for most of the flight. We were over Canada flying west. There appeared to be a triangle formation that sometimes looked to be equilateral and other times isosceles. There was a moment where multiple lights seemed to form a symmetrical kite looking shape for a few seconds then faded into a larger triangle. We were up between 30000 to 36000 feet when we saw them. The lights would be very bright sometimes and then very dim at other times. They were not close to us, they seemed to be quite far away in the distant horizon and never seemed to get closer as we flew towards them. The local time was before midnight." He also added. "Unfortunately the phone camera doesn’t do it any justice. It looked a lot more defined in person."
