You asked me three things in the comments. Why 2027? How do I define consciousness? And why did I move to Portugal? So Lemon and I walked the cliffs at sunset and I answered all three. I think nations act like living things. In 1945 Japanese officers tried a coup to stop their own surrender, even with Tokyo about to be leveled. That's not people. That's the nation not wanting to die. And I think 2027 is when the bigger systems on this planet start waking up.
