Recollections of Roswell (1992) is a particularly interesting piece of early Roswell documentary history because it was produced at a time when the modern Roswell mythology was still being assembled through interviews with surviving witnesses. It is also closely connected with the research of Stanton T. Friedman and the Fund for UFO Research (FUFOR).

One important clarification first: there are references to Recollections of Roswell and Recollections of Roswell, Part II: The Crash at Corona. The 105-minute programme generally catalogued as the 1992 documentary is associated with interviews conducted by Friedman, while Part II concentrated heavily on the alleged Corona and Plains of San Agustin crash stories.
