My name is Father Robert L. Bailey – commonly known as Father Bob. I am a native of Cranston, Rhode Island and am a retired Roman Catholic priest in Rhode Island. I earned a degree in Education and Human Development at Rhode Island College. I attended Our Lady of Providence Seminary in Warwick, Rhode Island then attended Major Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland where I earned a Masters in Theology and was ordained to the priesthood in 1993.

Having an interest in the paranormal since childhood, I began to feel a calling to assist those working in the area of paranormal research with my priesthood. I felt that the Church and the Catholic Faith could bring some ages-old wisdom and spiritual authority to the table in the area of the demonic.
Through a series of circumstances, my friendship with Ryan Buell of PRS led to work with him on various Paranormal State episodes where dark forces were suspected. This work gave me both experience and exposure along with credibility in the paranormal field. I had also been contacted by various paranormal groups in the local area for spiritual assistance. Because of this, I began to receive numerous requests in my local area by both individuals as well as paranormal investigators for assistance.

The need became such that I founded a ministry - The Praesidium Warriors of St. Michael-PWSM and a website to be at the service of investigators and individuals who may encounter negative or demonic forces by way of education and training in spiritual warfare.

Besides having been a Guest on Paranormal State episodes, I also had the privilege to work with the late Lorraine Warren (whom I loved dearly!), Michelle Belanger, Chip Coffey and Ryan Buell). I also appeared on Animal Planet’s The Haunted as well as Discovery’s Expedition X and Haunted Happenings (later called Confronting The Darkness- a talk show found on YouTube with Rob Jacobs). I have also been a guest on such radio shows as Sheena LATalk Radio, Swords of St Michael radio show, Paranormal Insider, Behind the Paranormal and SHOK Radio and Anomalies Radio Talk Show, to name a few.

I am retired from active ministry due to health reasons. In 2024 I began a private, independent, local ministry called the HOLY SWORD APOSTOLATE (www.holyswordapostolate.com). With the nickname, PARANORMAL PADRE, I am dedicated to education in spiritual warfare, paranormal issues and demonology.
I am also available for lectures and workshops, for liberation over homes or places, prayers for healing and assisting earthbound and Purgatorial souls. I am available to work with others in collaborative cases as my health limitations allow.
