I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Marianne Fosheim, a project member from Project Heston who uses her background in 3D modelling and geographic information systems to help map and analyse LIDAR data. She shared some fascinating LIDAR images from Norway that reveal strange anomalies - including circular voids, triangles, and other odd shapes that don't correlate with any expected terrain features or artifacts. We discussed the nature of LIDAR, where to access publicly available datasets, and experiments being done by the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies to identify and eliminate potential sources of error. The conversation highlighted the power of anomalies to lead to new discoveries, and the promise of LIDAR as a tool for seriously studying the UAP phenomenon. I'm grateful to Marianne for taking the time to walk through these intriguing images and share her expertise.
