Details of the Incident:
Date: The incident reportedly occurred on May 22, 2025.
Location: An aircraft flying over the Atlantic Ocean, near the fix NOSID (coordinates approximately 3324N, 6975W), reported the encounter.
Object: The aircraft reportedly hit a "small linear object" at an altitude of 35,000 feet and again between 3,000 and 5,000 feet above.
Further Investigation:
New York ARINC issued an advisory on HF frequencies 8846 kHz and 8918 kHz regarding the incident.
