On March 13, 1997, between 7:30 and 10:30 PM, thousands of people across Arizona, Nevada, and even parts of Mexico witnessed one of the largest mass UFO sightings in modern history — forever known as the Phoenix Lights.
The main event? A massive, silent, V-shaped (or boomerang-shaped) formation of glowing lights — anywhere from 5 to 10 bright, steady orbs — slowly gliding across the sky. Witnesses described it as enormous... some estimated it was over a mile wide, big enough to block out the stars behind it as it passed silently overhead with no sound of engines.
To this day, the Phoenix Lights remain one of the most documented, most witnessed, and most debated UFO events ever. Was it secret military tech? Extraterrestrial visitors?
