In 1977, an isolated fishing village in northern Brazil became the center of one of the most disturbing UFO cases ever investigated by a military force.
Witnesses in Colares reported glowing objects in the sky, beams of light descending onto homes, strange injuries, paralysis, and terrifying nighttime encounters. Locals called the phenomenon “Chupa-Chupa” after claims that the lights drained blood and energy from victims.
As panic spread across the island, the Brazilian Air Force launched Operação Prato (Operation Saucer), a real military investigation involving surveillance missions, witness interviews, sketches, photographs, and classified reports.
