AZTEC UFO CRASH 1948: The Missing Link in UFO History?

Video Description

In March 1948, something strange was said to have happened near Hart Canyon, just outside Aztec, New Mexico.

According to one of the most controversial stories in UFO history, a large disc-shaped craft of unknown origin came down on a remote mesa and was recovered during a secret military operation. Reports claimed the craft was nearly 100 feet in diameter and contained small humanoid occupants. The story remained hidden from the public until journalist Frank Scully brought it to national attention in 1949 and later expanded it in his bestselling book, Behind the Flying Saucers.
But was the Aztec UFO crash a genuine recovery of an extraterrestrial craft, an elaborate hoax, or something in between?
Often overshadowed by Roswell, the Aztec case may represent a crucial turning point in UFO history, introducing many of the themes that would later become central to the UFO crash-retrieval legend: recovered discs, non-human occupants, military secrecy, and government cover-ups.
