You made this? I made this! - UFO Reverse Engineering

We've all seen the meme and it's quite apparent now that the technology we have today (that we know about) is most likely not originating from the minds of us mere humans.

It's often stated that the transistor was never actually invented by the humans, but was merely reverse engineered from the 1947 Roswell Alien UFO crash.

For those who do not know what a transistor is, quite simply it can amplify electrical current, control electrical current and generate electrical signals - something we (the human race) did not have (in this tiny form) prior to this event.

What does it matter if we reversed engineered "alien technology"?

I suppose in the grand scheme of things, a product that has helped the human race develop it's technology further is never a bad thing.. provided the general public do benefit from such an advancement.

The problems occur when <insert a country> government actually keeps this technology to themselves to help give themselves sort of competitive advantage over other countries.

A fine example is the classic "Tic-Tac" UFO video, many have said is a craft from another planet/galaxy, whilst others seem to think this is our very own craft that has been reverse engineered from UFO technology.

In a recent interview with Luis Elizondo over on DR J Radio Live, Lue was asked some quite interesting questions from Thirdphaseofmoon (Cousins brothers) where an example was given regarding "glass" from a crashed human aircraft.

Luis explained, to a race where technology is not as advanced as our own, a piece of glass could be seen as a tool to help skin fish; rather than using it as a clear transparent item we use to let daylight into our homes etc.

The piece of glass is sharp, and is much better than the rock 'they' were using yesterday.

If we take the transistor, maybe we've done the exact same thing.  We've reverse engineered a piece of technology that was never originally intended to be used as "we now use it". It's more than likely a piece from the bobbing human head toy the aliens placed on their dashboard.

Why can't we just share?

As mentioned previously, countries often keep their discoveries a secret because they feel it would give a competitive advantage, much like a poker player will not show their cards to opponents.

The same applied with technology, in the eyes of governments, having a piece of equipment which would ensure the success of their own country over others is often more desirable than producing a product that could help the human race - eg: Free Energy.

Our Conclusion

We need to break free of this childish competitiveness if we really want to progress further with our own technology.  If we are not unified as a planet, we will never keep pushing the boundaries of technology.

In one of the Star Trek movies, the Federation was never allowed to interfere with a planet until they had first discovered warp technology (I might be 100% wrong here, I've not seen the movies for years).

In short, we need to develop our own human society before we will be accepted by others.
