I'm in the Navy, so this UFO Sighting must be TRUE!

The past 100 years of UFO sightings are often from people who enjoy sitting out in their gardens/yards whilst looking up at the sky, or avid UFO researched who's only aim is to capture the best UFO/UAP footage.

The saddening truth about these types of sightings is, they hold very little weight, and many don't really believe the user who experienced/witnessed the event.

If a UFO watcher captures the best footage, they are often dismissed as being "it's a set up", "they faked it"

If a member of the general public captures footage, the feedback is the same with some sort of ulterior motive attached such as "they just want the followers on <insert social network here>".

The truth of the matter is, nobody really believes others when hearing a story unless they have some sort of completely unrelated "title" attached to their name.

Why is it that thousands of reports go completely unrecognised by the mainstream media when the user who speaks about the event - does not have some sort of military background to back the statement up?

This really boils down to the human belief system.  Having a qualification in Quantum Physics will add weight to a claim discussing the latest anti-matter findings - so we automatically assume somebody that fights for our country would never lie.

Military People know more than us - we dumb dumb

Many UFO sightings are often backed up by Military personnel because we expect them to be able to differentiate between a drone and a unidentified flying object.  What if the titles were changed to somebody else's profession that also spends time in the sky...lets see.

The stories above instantly create a "haha, yea right" or "ok dude, keep sipping the whiskey".

How can we add validity to stories without being in the Military?

Proof.  Simple undeniable proof that can be validated by:

  • Scientific Evidence (EMF / Instrument Data)
  • Video & Photo Evidence from multiple sources
  • Wear a medal or two...

Ok, so the last one was a joke, but we can start to change the shift between "this person is a nutter" to "ok, this seems legitimate"

It's always easier to disprove a story than it is to prove it - so before submitting your experiences, always try and make sure you have everything covered.

If you have doubt about anything, be honest and explain it.

For example,

Several months ago whilst taking our dog for a walk, both myself and my wife spotted a light appear in the dusk sky, move in a wavy motion then disappear.

For us, this was one of the closest encounters we've had with something that was not of this world.  What could cause such a thing to appear.  We don't live near an airport, nor was it actually high enough for it to be an air craft.

Did we take it to the newspapers? No.

Did we post on forums about our experience? No.

We had 0 evidence apart from 2 people seeing the exact same thing in the sky, and even now I can hear judgements from people "they probably saw a firework".

People love telling their UFO & Alien stories

Anybody who experiences something out of the ordinary loves to tell their story.  Many UFO Channels we feature on UFOSlice often have open calls allowing viewers to speak about their own UFO/Alien/Paranormal experiences with an active audience.

Stories without any proof hold zero weight with listeners and are often branded as "crazy" - which is a shame for the whole Ufology sector.

Sightings and experiences are happening more than ever, so grab your smart phone, and get some undeniable UFO footage - then speak about it if you want to be believed.
